Writer Information
Hello, my name is Ben Kellogg, and I was diagnosed with autism as a toddler. I still live in the small town in Central New York where I was raised, and I am a graduate of Cayuga Community College with an Associate Degree in Arts in Humanities and Social Science with a concentration in writing. (Graduated summa cum laude) Since graduation, I have been pursuing a career in freelance writing.
Although my books can be enjoyed by all children, my purpose for creating the “Noah and Logan Children’s Book Series” is to help children on the autism spectrum learn the skills that were difficult for me to understand and learn as a child. The books focus on life and social skills and are intended for the age ranges of preschool to the second grade. I write the books and my mother does the illustrations according to my ideas. I hope my books are helpful and fun to read!
In addition to my “Noah and Logan” series, I have had three poems published and am currently working on a novel.
I have many interests, but reading has been a love of mine from a very early age. All genres interest me, but I have a particular love for children’s books. I have quite a collection. The authors whose works I have cherished the most include Ted Geisel (Dr. Seuss), Lewis Carroll, and Roald Dahl.
