What I love most about Ms. Dowell’s writing is the way she makes her characters down-to-earth and relatable. I haven’t read one of her books in which I couldn’t step into the heroine’s shoes and live the story. I love her paraphrasing because I’ve never been fond of internal thoughts because the tense change draws me out of the story, so she’s definitely my cup of tea. Her stories are so varied, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, and what more could you want than three in one book.
