Writer Information
Juliet Waldron has lived in many US states, in the UK and the West Indies thanks to a globe-trotting, Auntie Mame sort of mother. She earned a B. A. in English, but has worked at jobs ranging from artist’s model to brokerage. Thirty years ago, after her sons left home, she dropped out of 9-5 and began to follow her dream and write, hoping to create a genuine time travel experience for her readers as well as memorable characters. She’s a devoted grandmother, cat person, and life-time student of History, Herstory and Archeology.
Historical novels and fantasy, too, have always been favorites. Wind in the Willows (Kenneth Grahame) and The Once And Future King (T.H. White) filled her childhood hours, along with Little Men/Women, 8 Cousins (Louisa May Alcott), The Light Princess and Back of the North Wind (George MacDonald). As a young teen, she graduated to Margaret Campbell Barnes, Anya Seton, Margaret Irwin and others. Science fiction became an interest, too, with Philip K. Dick, Frank Herbert, Arthur C. Clarke, Robert A. Heinlein as favorites.
